China Stocks rebound on stimulus hopes

Chinese stocks bounced back on Thursday, with the Shanghai Composite up 0.24% to 3,903.7 and the Shenzhen Component increasing 0.59% to 13,972.8. This recovery followed the People’s Bank of China's decision to keep key lending rates steady, with the one-year loan prime rate at 3% and the five-year rate at 3.5%. This indicates a cautious stance by policymakers amidst ongoing economic challenges. Investors are anticipating more support measures due to poor economic data from July.
