Chinese stock market settle mixed amid Government's policy support

China’s stock market had mixed results on Friday. The Shanghai Composite was steady at 3,905.2, while the Shenzhen Component rose by 0.87% to 14,094.2. Vice Finance Minister Liao Min announced plans to increase government spending to support households and boost consumption. The People's Bank of China also reiterated a supportive monetary policy but did not indicate immediate cuts to interest rates or reserve requirements. Major stocks like PetroChina and Ping An Insurance saw gains, but the Shanghai Composite fell 0.56% and the Shenzhen Component dropped 1.81% over the week.
